Notes
Greater sea kale (Crambe cordifolia) is a perennial for borders and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Give it plenty of space for its huge leaves and tall, branched panicles of fragrant white flowers that look like giant baby's breath. It blooms from early to late summer and draws bees and butterflies.
Pairs well with Feather reed grass, Delphinium, and Gladiolus.
