Notes

'Greek' basil (Ocimum basilicum 'Greek') is an herb for borders, containers, and food gardens. It is typically grown as an annual. Frost will kill it, so set it out only after the last frost in spring. This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. It grows about 12 inches tall and wide, and the fragrant plant attracts butterflies and bees.

Pairs well with Oregano, African marigold, and Nasturtium.
