Notes

Green desert spoon (Dasylirion acrotrichum) is a succulent for borders and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full sun and dry, sandy or loamy soil. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. It is native to Mexico and stays evergreen all year. Once settled, it tolerates drought and grows 59 to 71 inches tall and wide.

Pairs well with Blue beaked yucca, Narrow-leaf chalksticks, and Coral aloe.
