Notes
'Hope' alaala (Peperomia 'Hope') is a perennial for container planting, low maintenance spots, and accents. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 11 and warmer, down to about 40°F (4°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes part sun or part shade and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. It stays evergreen and grows 3 to 6 inches tall. It spreads 24 to 48 inches wide, so give it room. Keep it away from pets because it is toxic to pets.
Pairs well with Friendship plant, Heartleaf philodendron, and Cabbage tree.
