Notes

'Horizontalis' maidenhair tree (Ginkgo biloba 'Horizontalis') is a tree for containers, specimen planting, and winter interest. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to wet soil of most types. Deer rarely make it their first choice. It grows at a moderate rate and has a horizontal habit, so give it plenty of room to spread. It tolerates drought and salt.

Pairs well with Candicans white fir, Red twig dogwood, and Smoketree.
