Notes
'Intenz' celosia (Celosia 'Intenz') is an annual for borders, containers, and cut flower gardens. Frost will kill it, so set it out only after the last frost in spring. This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and sandy or loamy soil. It grows 12 to 24 inches tall and draws butterflies and bees. Deer tend to pass it by. The flowers also work well as an accent in an annual bed.
Pairs well with Creeping zinnia, Blue daisy, and Mystic Illusion dahlia.
