Notes

Irish moss (Sagina revelierei) is a perennial for rock gardens, containers, ground cover, and low maintenance spots. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. It forms a dense mat of green foliage that stays evergreen. Small white flowers appear through the year, so the mat keeps its interest in every season.

Pairs well with Blue fescue, Heather, Pink Impression tulip, and Stargazer lily.

Chile to Argentina and the Falkland Islands.
