Notes

'Kiwi' cabbage tree (Cordyline fruticosa 'Kiwi') is a shrub for borders, containers, and accents. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 10 and warmer, down to about 30°F (-1°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to moist, loamy soil. It is evergreen and grows in an erect form at a moderate pace. Fragrant creamy white to pale lavender-pink flowers open in spring and summer.

Pairs well with Bamboo palm, Holly fern, and Brasil velvet-leaf philodendron.
