Notes

Knapweed (Psephellus dealbatus) is a perennial for borders, low maintenance gardens, and naturalized areas. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to moist soil of most types. Rosy pink flowers open in late spring and again from early to late summer. Butterflies, bees, and birds visit the blooms. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits.

Pairs well with Poppy mallow, Hummelo betony, and Buffalo grass.
