Notes

'Leen van Dijk' dahlia (Dahlia 'Leen van Dijk') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil. The flowers are strong reddish purple with yellowish white at the base of the petals. Plants reach about 59 inches tall, and bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds visit the blooms. R.J. Muntjewerff bred it.

Pairs well with Purple top, Japanese forest grass, Ornamental onion, and Gaura.
