Notes
Leyland cypress (Hesperotropsis leylandii) is an evergreen tree for hedges. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and most soil types. It tolerates drought and salt, so it works well in tough spots. Birds visit it, and it can reach 60 to 70 feet tall, so give it plenty of room.
Pairs well with Cherry, Mountain mint, and Buffalo grass.
