Notes

'Lice' Chinese plumbago (Ceratostigma willmottianum 'Lice') is a plant for borders, cottage gardens, hedges, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It blooms in early to late summer and again in early to late autumn. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the flowers.

Pairs well with Purple top, Mondo grass, and Sundrops.
