Notes

Lily pink (Aphyllanthes monspeliensis) is a perennial for borders, containers, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full sun and dry, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. It blooms in spring and again in summer, and bees visit the flowers. Drought tolerance makes it easy to care for.

Pairs well with Meadow sage, Star of persia, and Elfin mother of thyme.
