Notes

Littleleaf titi (Cyrilla racemiflora) is a tree for pollinator gardens, rain gardens, and winter interest. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun to part shade and average to wet, sandy or loamy soil. Showy, airy white flower clusters draw bees, and in the north the leaves turn rust-red in fall. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. Give it space, since it does not tolerate competition from other trees or shrubs.

Pairs well with Sweet bay magnolia, Black gum, Honeycup, and Weeping yaupon holly.
