Notes

'Madison' sweet pea (Lathyrus odoratus 'Madison') is a vine for borders, containers, cottage gardens, and privacy screens. It is hardy to USDA zone 2, or down to -50°F (-46°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist soil. It grows at a rapid rate and has a broad habit. Fragrant flowers open from early to late spring and again from early to late summer, and butterflies visit them.

Pairs well with Sunny Smile sunflower, Old Rose Dandy peony, Red fescue, and Easy Wave Blue petunia.
