Notes

'Manissa' lily (Lilium 'Manissa') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. The fragrant yellow-orange blooms open from early to late summer and have recurved petal tips. Stems reach 1.0 to 1.2 m tall, so the flowers rise above nearby plants. Butterflies and hummingbirds visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Sweet William, Switchgrass, and Bowl of Beauty peony.
