Notes

'Marathon' freesia (Freesia 'Marathon') is a bulb for cut flowers and specimen planting. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 9 and warmer, down to about 20°F (-7°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. The fragrant flowers open from early to late summer and are yellow with darker blotches at the edges. M. Penning & Zonen B.V. bred it.

Pairs well with Christmas bells, Creme de Cognac dahlia, and Vetiver.
