Notes
'Messina' freesia (Freesia 'Messina') is a bulb for cut flowers and specimen use. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 9 and warmer, down to about 20°F (-7°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. The fragrant flowers are Indian yellow edged with orange and open from early to late summer. F. Rijnveld bred it.
Pairs well with Angelonia, Vetiver, and Dragon Wing Red begonia.
