Notes
Microsorum (Microsorum musifolium) is a fern for borders, containers, and shade gardens. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 10 and warmer, down to about 30°F (-1°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. The evergreen fronds arch up to 24 inches tall. It needs little care once settled.
Pairs well with Boston fern, Holly fern, Japanese aralia, and Gryphon begonia.
Native range
Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines to New Guinea, and Polynesia.
