Notes

'Mignonette' wild strawberry (Fragaria vesca 'Mignonette') is a fruit for containers, food gardens, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It blooms in spring and again in summer, and bees visit the flowers. Birds are also drawn to the plant. Each plant spreads about 12 inches, so give it a little room.

Pairs well with Jack Frost Siberian bugloss, Sweet violet, and Lemon balm.
