Notes

'Regina' woodland strawberry (Fragaria vesca 'Regina') is a fruit for food gardens, containers, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It blooms in spring and again in summer, and bees and birds visit it. The plants spread about 12 inches wide. Deer tend to pass it by.

Pairs well with Berry Smoothie coral bells, Stinking hellebore, and Berggarten sage.
