Notes
'Minuet' weigela (Weigela 'Minuet') is a shrub for hedges. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. It grows 24 to 36 inches tall and 36 to 48 inches wide, so it stays compact. Purplish-red flowers with yellow throats open in late spring and early summer. The blooms are fragrant.
Pairs well with Snowberry, Lady of Shalott rose, Tall fescue, and Pink Impression tulip.
