Notes
'April Snow' weigela (Weigela 'April Snow') is a shrub for hedges. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. It grows 48 to 72 inches tall and 36 to 60 inches wide, so give it room to spread along a hedge row. White, fragrant flowers open in mid to late spring. The blooms add soft color to the garden when many other shrubs are still waking up.
Pairs well with Feather reed grass, Mountain mint, and Gladiolus.
