Notes

'Monshi' cuphea (Cuphea hyssopifolia 'Monshi') is a dense, evergreen plant for borders, containers, hedges, and rock gardens. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 9 and warmer, down to about 20°F (-7°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It blooms in summer and again in autumn, and it draws butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. It also tolerates drought and salt.

Pairs well with Tuscan Blue rosemary, Sedge, and Lemon Coral sedum.
