Notes

'Morning Delight' dahlia (Dahlia 'Morning Delight') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil. The dark purple-red blooms reach about 6 inches wide on stems about 24 inches tall. Bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds visit the flowers. A.J.M. Leyten introduced it in 2004.

Pairs well with Purple top, Gaura, Japanese forest grass, and Butterfly bush.
