Notes

'Natal' dahlia (Dahlia 'Natal') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil. The dark purple-red blooms measure 2 to 3.5 inches across. They open from early to late summer and again from early to late autumn. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the flowers.

Pairs well with Lamb’s ear, Snapdragon, and Ornamental onion.
