Notes
New Zealand spinach (Tetragonia tetragonoides) is an annual for food gardens and annual beds. It is tender to cold, and the first hard frost will kill it. This plant likes full sun and average moisture. It grows 12 to 24 inches tall and spreads 36 to 48 inches, so give it plenty of room. You can grow it as a leafy green in summer beds.
Pairs well with Bogatyr garlic, Zucchini, and ProCut Peach sunflower.
Native range
Africa, eastern Asia, Australia, and South America.
