Notes

New Zealand wind grass (Anemanthele lessoniana) is a grass for borders, containers, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. It grows 24 to 36 inches tall and wide, and it tolerates drought and salt. Birds visit the plant. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal.

Pairs well with Lemongrass, Oleander, and Creme de Cognac dahlia.
