Notes
'Nigra' yew (Taxus × media 'Nigra') is an evergreen tree for hedges. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. It grows 72 to 96 inches tall and wide. It does not flower, so it works as a dark green backdrop for other plants.
Pairs well with Snowberry, Tree peony, and Stargazer lily.
