Notes
'Noir Desir' dahlia (Dahlia 'Noir Desir') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil. It grows about 43 inches tall and bears dark purple-red blooms in summer and again into autumn. Bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds visit the flowers. Theo de Boer B.V. introduced it in 2007.
Pairs well with Purple top, Japanese forest grass, and Ornamental onion.
