Notes

'Pimpernel' freesia (Freesia 'Pimpernel') is a fragrant bulb for cut flowers and specimen plantings. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 9 and warmer, down to about 20°F (-7°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. The flowers are burnt orange with an Indian yellow throat and red veins. A. van den Berg Gzn. bred it.

Pairs well with Mexican heather, Cyclamen, and Lemon grass.
