Notes

'Pink Panther' dahlia (Dahlia 'Pink Panther') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil. The purple-red blooms are about 140mm wide and open from early to late summer and again in autumn. Stems reach about 47 inches tall, and bees, butterflies, hummingbirds, and birds visit the flowers. Van der Vlugt bred it, and Smits introduced it in 2004.

Pairs well with Purple top, Lamb’s ear, and Casa Blanca lily.
