Notes

'Purple Haze' dahlia (Dahlia 'Purple Haze') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, containers, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Purple flowers open in early to late summer and again in early to late autumn. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit the blooms. E. van Dongen bred it.

Pairs well with Purple top, Black-eyed Susan, and Blue Fortune Bill Williams Mountain giant hyssop.
