Notes

'Purple Puff' dahlia (Dahlia 'Purple Puff') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil. It grows about 39 inches tall and bears purple blooms from early to late summer and again in autumn. Butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the flowers. E. van Dongen bred it, and L.P.A. van der Salm introduced it.

Pairs well with Lamb’s ear, Purple top, and Smoketree.
