Notes
Red angel's trumpet (Brugmansia sanguinea) is a shrub for borders and containers. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 9 and warmer, down to about 20°F (-7°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. The red and yellow trumpet flowers are about 10 inches long. They bloom best in cool spring and fall weather and may not bloom at all in summer.
Pairs well with Shrimp plant, Red ginger, Papyrus, and Staghorn fern.
