Notes

Red flowering gum (Corymbia ficifolia) is a tree for low maintenance gardens, hedges, and xeriscape. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 9 and warmer, down to about 20°F (-7°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy or loamy soil. It is evergreen and tolerates drought and salt. Deer tend to pass it by. Birds and butterflies visit it.

Pairs well with Dragon tree, Camphor tree, Sago palm, and Shrimp plant.
