Notes
Sago palm (Cycas revoluta) is a shrub for borders, containers, rock gardens, and accents. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 9 and warmer, down to about 20°F (-7°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy or loamy soil. It grows slowly and keeps its green, evergreen foliage all year. It is toxic to pets, so place it with care.
Pairs well with Mondo grass, Society garlic, Karl Foerster feather reed grass, and Lion's tail.
Native range
Asia and Hainan.
