Notes

'Red Gold' Chinese evergreen (Aglaonema 'Red Gold') is a houseplant for containers and shade gardens. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 10 and warmer, down to about 30°F (-1°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It stays evergreen and can reach about 36 inches tall and wide. The white spadix with a pale pink spathe appears in summer and again in autumn.

Pairs well with Jade pothos, Holly fern, Japanese aralia, and Gryphon begonia.
