Notes

'Red Hackle' daffodil (Narcissus 'Red Hackle') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or clay soil. The flowers are fragrant and have a bowl-shaped orange cup with a frilled edge. Bees and butterflies visit the blooms. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits.

Pairs well with Obsidian coral bells, Bowl of Beauty peony, and Big bluestem.
