Notes

Red horned poppy (Glaucium corniculatum) is an annual for borders and low maintenance gardens. This plant likes full sun and dry to average, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. It grows 12 to 24 inches tall and wide. Flowers open from early to late summer and bring in bees. It tolerates drought, and it grows in acid, alkaline, or neutral soil. Deer rarely make it their first choice.
