Notes

'Red Lion' freesia (Freesia 'Red Lion') is a bulb for cut flowers and specimen use. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 9 and warmer, down to about 20°F (-7°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. Fragrant currant red flowers with lemon yellow centers appear from early to late summer on stems about 39 inches tall. I.V.T. bred it.
