Notes

Rock rose (Helianthemum nummularium) is a low evergreen shrub for ground cover, pollinator gardens, and naturalized areas. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to average soil of most types. It grows 6 to 12 inches tall and spreads 24 to 36 inches. Pastel pink or yellow flowers open in spring and again in summer, and bees visit them.

Pairs well with Blanket flower, Blue grama, and Ornamental onion.
