Notes
'Henfield Brilliant' rock rose (Helianthemum 'Henfield Brilliant') is a shrub for borders, ground cover, and xeriscape. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and dry, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. It stays 6 to 9 inches tall and spreads 18 to 24 inches. Red-orange flowers open in spring and again in summer, and the leaves stay green all year.
Pairs well with Elfin mother of thyme, Arizona Sun blanket flower, Purple lovegrass, and Ornamental onion.
