Notes

Rubber rabbitbrush (Ericameria nauseosa) is a shrub for low maintenance beds, hedges, and naturalized areas. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to average, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Small yellow flower heads grow in dense clusters at the ends of the stems, and butterflies visit them. Cutting it back in winter makes a thick, bushy plant.

Pairs well with Blue grama, Blanket flower, and Mugwort.
