Notes

Sacred datura (Datura wrightii) is an annual for borders, containers, and pollinator gardens. It is not cold-hardy and will not survive freezing temperatures. This plant likes full sun to part shade and dry to average soil of most types. Its large white trumpet flowers are fragrant and open from evening through morning. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. All parts of the plant are narcotic and can be lethal if eaten.

Pairs well with Marvel of peru, Sedge, and Lion's tail.
