Notes
'Sakai01' jacaranda (Jacaranda mimosifolia 'Sakai01') is a tree for specimen use. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 9 and warmer, down to about 20°F (-7°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It grows at a rapid rate with an ascending habit. Bees visit the spring blooms, and the tree is drought tolerant.
Pairs well with Mexican heather, Evergold sedge, and African daisy.
