Notes

'Evergold' sedge (Carex oshimensis 'Evergold') is a grass for borders, containers, rock gardens, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun to part shade and average to wet soil of most types. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. It forms a low, clumping mound of evergreen foliage that looks good all year, and it tolerates drought once settled. Bees and birds visit it.

Pairs well with Amsonia, Inkberry, and Karl Foerster feather reed grass.
