Notes

'Salmon' coral plant (Russelia equisetiformis 'Salmon') is a shrub with slender, cascading green stems. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 9 and warmer, down to about 20°F (-7°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil. Orange tubular flowers hang from the branch tips in spring, summer, and autumn. Hummingbirds and bees visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Dragon Wing Red begonia, Angel wings, Sedge, and Bitter ginger.
