Notes
'Semperflorens' water forget-me-not (Myosotis scorpioides 'Semperflorens') is a perennial for ground cover, rain gardens, and naturalized areas. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. It creeps along at a moderate pace and stays under 9 inches tall. Light sky blue flowers with yellow centers open in summer and again in autumn, and butterflies and bees visit them.
Pairs well with Swamp milkweed, Cardinal flower, and Ostrich fern.
