Notes
'Shimmer' hartweg's sundrops (Oenothera 'Shimmer') is a perennial for borders, rock gardens, and edging. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to average soil. Yellow flowers open from early to late summer. The plant stays low at 6 to 9 inches tall and spreads 12 to 24 inches wide, so give it room to form a mat.
Pairs well with Creeping thyme, Blue grama, and Black Parrot tulip.
